Zuni Pueblo Indian Brooch:
 |
|
|
"Here is a wonderful, very large and old
Zuni Pueblo Indian stone to stone inlayed silver turquoise jet coral and
shell pin or brooch. It is one of the larger pins that I have had, being
a little less than 4 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. I believe this item to
be made about 1920's or early 30's but I have no way of knowing who made
it, or if it might be a little newer, so you all be the judges. It is
not signed but I'm sure it is Zuni and very good quality as well.

Fur trade earrings:
 |
|
|
Fur trade earrings hand cut and made from
brass. These are about 2" across and very thin (a couple pieces of thick
paper, thin), and light. These earrings were patterned after 18th
century American Indian fur trade earring designs. They are were made
with many hours of effort in the last 5 years. A wonderful pair of
earrings fit for any vintage rendevous, black tie affair or any event in
between. I love to carry one of a kind hand made accoutrements for
inventory. These were "picked" from the maker at an antique show, his
girlfriend was wearing them. Bought them right off of her ears. Price
$425.00. |

Zia Olla:
 |
|
|
Zia Olla about 13" by 13.5". Here you have
a rare 4 color pot with birds. This pot is likely circa 1930. It came
out of an old collection here in the midwest. Don't let this photo fool
you, it does not do the pot justice, this is a very impressive Olla in
person. It has a minor rim chip but other than that is in great shape
for its age. Large 4 color Zia's of this large size and quality rarely
come along. Please write or call for more photos or to buy it now.
Priced to sell quick at...$9,500.00. |

Zuni Pueblo Indian Brooch:
 |
|
|
Here
is a wonderful, what I believe to be BLUE GEM old Zuni Pueblo Indian inlayed
silver and turquoise pin or brooch. It is one of the nicer pins that I have had.
The stones are exquisite and have great depth. The photos do not do them
justice. It is of the finest quality. Being all turquoise and likely BLUE GEM
makes it a rare one indeed. It is about 2" across. I believe this item to be
made about 1920's or early 30's but I have no way of knowing who made it, or if
it might be a little newer, so you all be the judges. It is not signed but I'm
sure it is Zuni and very good quality as well. $899.00. |

Teddie Weahkee?:
 |
|
Here
are two Zuni fetishes that could have possibly been made Teddie Weahkee! I am
selling them separate. One is the oldest made out of Malachite (the green stone)
that I have ever seen (ca 1940's); I believe that it could be a bear. It has
coral, shell, and turquoise beads along with a stylized turquoise arrowhead. It
also has a leather or sinew wrap in the classic style. This one is a must have
for any collector of early fetishes if you don’t have an early example of
malachite. Overall it is very pleasing with a nice old patina. $950.00 or make
me an offer.
The bottom fetish in the photo is likely a fox or wolf it has turquoise inset
eyes and a leather/sinew wrap with turquoise arrowhead. This one is made out of
either jet or possibly rocky mountain jade. Also a very nice pleasing fetish. I
acquired both of these fetishes from an old time collector that had discovered
them in a Colorado antique shop over 35 years ago. $775.00 |

HERON LAKE DUCK CALL:
 |
|
|
HERON
LAKE DUCK CALL. Here is a very rare collectible A D Sontag Heron Lake (MN) duck
call. It is quite large being about 6 3/4" long and almost 1 7/8" wide. From my
understanding the barrel of the call is original and very old. Marv Meyer
hand-made the stopper and "guts" for this and the other calls that were found.
He signed them as seen in the photos. These calls are very collectible and there
are not very many known to exist so get them now whilst you can. Thank you very
much for your interest in my auctions. If you have any questions please ask
prior to bidding, I'll do my best to answer them and will get back to everyone
that asks. We do prefer that all sales are final. Please also view my other
items up and running in my ebay store, deal with me direct to save fees. Click

Wood Duck Hen:
 |
|
|
Wood
duck hen coming out of her nest (a burl) with chick under breast. This piece was
found in a box of burls that Charly Perdew had "put away". He used the burls for
stands and mounting miniature/decorative duck decoys. This piece sold at the
Perdew estate sale several years back. The winner was lucky and found this piece
in the bottom of the box. The burl is a little under 4" long and 3" wide. Superb
craftmanship only as Charly could imagine. Here is a chance to own a mint Charly
Perdew carved and painted minty original piece. They don't come along very often
and if you even think you like it... you better buy it. All of Charlies
miniatures were one of kind. So get it now while you can. You can visit my ebay
store to see more photos of the piece. It will be priced a little higher to
account for all of the fees. Thank you for looking. 1,750.00. |

Navajo Crystal Weaving:
 |
|
|
Here
you have a very large navajo crystal weaving made circa 1920. It is 42" + wide
at the base by about 70" + long. This rug is in excellent condition and has
never been washed. You can still feel the lanolin in the wool. There are no
runs, bleeds, thin spots or holes. I think that it has always been in dark
storage and never walked on. There is a break or maybe two in the selvege and
maybe a couple small stains and that is it. It is very hard to find the vibrant
reds such as are in this weaving. It is considered a burning cross design with
the crosses being a rare tabacco color with the red ends (hence burning). There
also are a couple spirit lines in the weaving. The spirit lines were for the
spirits of the weaving to be able to come and go and not be trapped. I always
look for this in the finer art from the Native Americans. Whenever I find a
piece such as this, it is usually a better art piece as the maker put their
heart and soul into the piece. This weaving came from an old Wisconsin lady
collector several years ago, it has been one of our favorites and hung on our
wall for almost 10 years. No sun fades or any major problems. Just a vibrant
weaving with great early geometrics and heart and soul. Thank you for looking.
