Die-cut advertising:
 |
|
|
Original die-cut advertising Ithaca
feather-light repeaters, ithaca gun co. Inc. Ithaca N.Y. This is a 3 D
diecut, in that the Mallard duck is a seperate piece of cardboard that
is overlaid onto the sky background. That makes it "pop". There
condition is real minty in terms of completeness and color, there is a
small amount of foxing but you have to look close. I believe it is now
on acid free cardboard. This piece is approximately 17" wide by 14.5"
tall. Large and pleasing to the eye! Nice early piece probably from the
1930's. Price $325.00. |

Original Peters cartridge company poster:
 |
|
|
"Original Peters cartridge company
advertising poster with two pheasants. This version is unique in that
when the Peters cartridge company sent the advertising poster out to its
retail outlet there was a spot for the name of the company. This one had
Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co along with New York, Cincinnati and San
Francisco. The outlet store that used this particular poster stamped
their address on it as well, which was A. Arntz, sporting goods,
Muskegon MI." This poster is approximately 13.5" by 32 1/8". It is in
good condition with good color. It does have a few roll lines but
overall I think it would rate an 8.5 to 9.5 on a 10 scale. Has little to
no edge damage. Calendar is May 1931, only ever had top band and that is
intact. Perfect for framing! Price. $950.00." |

"Peters Ammunition" Man:
 |
|
|
"Peters Ammunition" Man at campfire cooking
dinner, stalked by large grizzly bear with eyes illumenated. I
absolutely love this large poster (20" by 30.5") bands both top and
bottom. It is all original and all complete in great condition. There is
a little edge wear but overall this poster is in great condition with
good color. The poster is covered with plastic and therefore the photos
do not do it justice. I have many more photos, if are serious and would
like to see more, just ask, I'll be glad to send you whatever angle you
need. Thank you for your interest." Price $2,500.00.

Decoying Mallards:
 |
|
"Lynn
Bogue Hunt, Gouache on board, Decoying Mallards"
Here is a spectacular painting of a flight of decoying mallards, by famed
waterfowl illustrator "Lynn Bogue Hunt". This paiting is in exceptional
condition with vivid bright colors showing standard patina for its age. A must
have rare painting for any waterfowl lodge decor. A rare piece, this one was
likely done for the cover a sporting journal first half of the 20th century. I
am still searching for that cover. The art is 15" by 18.75". It could stand to
be reframed, but is in UV protected glass expertly framed now. Please contact me
for details. Mallards are extremely hard to find in this size (the drake is
front and center, taking almost 1/3rd of the painting). Very pleasing piece that
emits the feel of the hunt! $12,750.00.
